Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the certifiedrestore.com website and the services provided by Certified Restoration Services, LLC (“CRS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, requesting service, or authorizing work, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

If you sign a written work authorization, estimate, or contract with us, that document controls in the event of any conflict with these Terms.

2. Our Services

CRS is a restoration contractor that follows IICRC standards, serving Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. Our services include emergency water damage mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, sewage and flood cleanup, antimicrobial treatments, and residential repair and rehabilitation work such as drywall, flooring, plumbing, and electrical repairs.

Emergency mitigation is available 24/7. Response times are estimates and may be affected by weather, call volume, access to the property, and other conditions outside our control.

3. Estimates, Scope of Work, and Authorization

Estimates are based on the conditions visible and measurable at the time of inspection. Water and mold damage is frequently hidden behind walls, under floors, or inside cavities, and additional damage may be discovered once work begins. When that happens, we will notify you and document the change before performing work outside the original scope.

Work begins only after you (or your authorized representative) authorize it. Emergency mitigation may begin on verbal or electronic authorization to prevent further damage, with written authorization to follow.

4. Insurance Claims

We work with all insurance carriers and can help document your loss with photos, moisture readings, drying logs, and itemized estimates. Our charges are based on industry-standard pricing for the work actually performed.

Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. CRS does not guarantee that your carrier will approve coverage or pay any particular amount. You remain responsible for your deductible, any work your carrier does not cover, and any balance that remains unpaid after the claim is resolved. You authorize us to communicate with your insurance company and adjuster about your claim. Any assignment of benefits or direction to pay will be made only through a separate written document signed by you.

5. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise stated in your written agreement, payment is due upon completion of the work. When insurance proceeds are issued for work we performed, including checks made payable jointly to you and CRS or your mortgage company, you agree to endorse and forward those proceeds to us promptly.

Payments by check may be mailed to: Certified Restoration Services, LLC, 1000 Northbrook Dr., Suite 511, Trevose, PA 19053. Past-due balances may be subject to late charges and collection costs as permitted by your agreement and Pennsylvania law.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To allow us to do our work safely and effectively, you agree to:

7. Equipment

Drying, dehumidification, and air-filtration equipment placed at your property remains the property of CRS. You are responsible for loss of or damage to our equipment while it is at your property, other than normal wear and tear.

8. Mold, Moisture, and Pre-Existing Conditions

Mold spores are naturally present in indoor and outdoor air, so no contractor can make a building “mold-free.” Our goal is to remove mold growth and return affected areas to normal fungal ecology. Mold can return if the underlying moisture source is not corrected. Unless repair of the source is included in your scope of work, you are responsible for correcting leaks, drainage, grading, and humidity problems. Independent post-remediation testing is available on request.

CRS is not responsible for pre-existing damage, deterioration, or code deficiencies, or for conditions concealed at the time of inspection. Many homes in our area were built before 1978 and may contain lead-based paint or asbestos. If testing or special handling is required, it may involve additional time and cost.

9. Warranty

Any warranty on our workmanship is limited to the terms stated in your written agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials pass through to you. Except as stated in a written agreement, CRS makes no other warranties, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, lost rent, or temporary housing costs, arising from our services or your use of this website. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be waived under Pennsylvania law.

11. Home Improvement Contracts

Home improvement contracts we enter into will comply with the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act, including any applicable right to cancel.

12. Website Use and Intellectual Property

The content on this website, including text, photos, logos, and graphics, belongs to CRS or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for an on-site inspection. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or submit false information through our forms.

13. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

Purpose. Certified Restoration Services uses text messaging only to communicate directly with our own customers about their service. Messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival notices, job status updates, links to review estimates, invoice and payment receipt notifications, and replies to your questions. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Messages are sent from (215) 402-2385.

Consent. You agree to receive these messages when you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, whether by phone when requesting service, through a form on our website, or in person when signing a work authorization. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.

Message frequency varies depending on your job and the status of your service request. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard message and data rates apply to messages you send and receive.

Opting out. You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. We will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again by replying START.

Help. Reply HELP to any message, email support@certifiedrestore.com, or call (610) 215-7111 for assistance. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your text-messaging opt-in data and consent with any third parties or affiliates.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Changes do not affect work already authorized under a signed agreement.
