Flooded Basement Cleanup in Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware & Philadelphia Counties
Sump pump failed in the storm, a supply line let go, or the creek came up. Whatever put water in your basement, the clock is the same: contents are salvageable for a day, drywall for two, and after that it is a mold job. We pump out, extract, dry and rebuild finished basements across the four-county area.
When to call
What to do right now
Before we arrive, these five things protect you and your claim.
Cut power to the basement
At the breaker, from a dry location. Never step into water near outlets, a furnace or a panel.
Do not enter deep or dirty water
If the water came from a drain or outside, it is contaminated. Wait for us.
Photograph everything
Wide shots of each area and close-ups of damaged items, before anything is moved.
Move what you safely can
Boxes, documents and electronics off the floor and upstairs.
Find the source
Sump pump, water heater, washer, a pipe, or the outside? That determines coverage.
Call us
We dispatch 24/7 and start extraction on arrival.

Insurance
Is a flooded basement covered?
It depends entirely on the source. Burst pipe or appliance: usually covered. Sump pump failure or sewer backup: only with an endorsement, which is inexpensive and worth asking your agent about. Groundwater or surface flooding: only with a separate flood policy. We identify the source and document it so the claim is filed correctly the first time.
Questions
Flooded basement FAQs
What should I do when my basement floods?
Cut power at the breaker, stay out of contaminated or deep water, photograph everything, move what you can, identify the source, and call us. Extraction within the first day keeps the loss small.
How much does flooded basement cleanup cost?
A few hundred dollars for a small clean-water pump-out with drying; several thousand for a finished basement with Category 3 water and rebuild. Written estimate before non-emergency work; emergency scope and cost before equipment is placed.
Can my finished basement be saved?
Framing and slab, almost always. Drywall, carpet pad and insulation that got wet, usually not. Hardwood and some laminate can be dried in place with floor mat systems if we start quickly.
Do you clean up after a sump pump failure?
Yes, it is one of our most common calls. We also recommend a battery backup pump before the next storm; it is the cheapest insurance there is.
How long until I can use the basement again?
Drying is typically three to five days. Rebuild depends on scope. You get a written timeline.
